A Description of Lunaria from Sissy
Lunaria, to me, is the horse suspended in time. The look in his eye enticing his rider to come along, untie the gold braided halterline, step into the fanciful crafted stirrup and enjoy the piaffe under the moon-lit trees together. His promise of exploring the intriguing Jingleberry Tree Forest, step by step, with him ”Lunaria”, he who does the piaffe out of pure pleasure.
Limited Edition Print of “Granada” in Medical Teams International Auction
A framed, limited edition print of Granada will be auctioned off at the Medical Teams International annual auction on June 11th, 2011, at Safeco Field in Seattle, Washington. Sissy is proud to support the efforts of this group of courageous volunteers who will go anywhere in the world to help people in need.

Lunaria
Sissy has been working on a three piece suite of paintings that celebrate the beauty of horses. The first piece in the series was completed in 2010 and is called Lunaria. The original is acrylic on canvas, and is a large piece measuring forty eight inches by sixty inches. The original is currently not for sale.

This is the second piece in the trilogy that celebrates the beauty of horses. The second piece was completed in 2011 and is called Granada. The original is acrylic on canvas, and is a large piece measuring forty eight inches by sixty inches. The original is currently not for sale.
